We believe in generosity

John Cadbury believed chocolate could make the world a better place. He even built Bournville, a model garden village, for his workers to live in. The product he created is generous too; Cadbury Dairy Milk is made with not one but one and a half glasses of full cream milk. The Cadbury of today continues his philosophy, believing that there is a generous instinct within everyone. Which is why we say
‘There’s a glass & a half in everyone.’

'Donate your words'

In the UK, 225,000 older people often go a week without speaking to anyone. Cadbury wanted to help, so they partnered with Age UK and donated the words from the front of their iconic Cadbury Dairy Milk bars.

For each bar sold, 30p was donated to Age UK. The campaign also encouraged the nation to donate their words too by having a chat or a cup of tea with an older person.

Our partnership with Age UK

Age UK is a highly respected UK charity which looks after and helps the older generation. Their expertise, ability to drive awareness of these issues and the vital services they provide older people made them the perfect charity for Cadbury to partner with for the ‘Donate your words’ campaign.
